Approximately, 80% of the bear harvested have been anything but your typical black in color. Enjoy working with an experienced pack of hounds in the mornings and utilize our well-placed baits in the evenings. These methods allow for a varied Idaho bear hunting schedule and many opportunities to harvest. Use your rifle, pistol or bow and tailor your Idaho bear hunt to your liking. Spring hunts provide an opportunity to hunt during a season when Idaho bear hunting options are limited. Spring will usually produce a thicker fuller coat while fall provides an opportunity at a larger bear.
